          Daily Digest Capsule does not require user accounts, does not collect personal identifiers, and preserves your bookmarks and preferences strictly within your device sandbox.
        

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Daily Digest Capsule mobile application for iOS ("the App"), developed by DevFang. We are committed to safeguarding user privacy through minimal data footprint and local-first architecture.

2. Data Collection & Local Storage

2.1 Device-Local Data

Saved Capsules & Bookmarks: Saved items are stored locally in the iOS sandbox via UserDefaults or CoreData/SwiftData. They are never uploaded to our servers.
Reading Progress & Timing: Your preferred capsule delivery times and notification schedule reside entirely on your device.

2.2 Network Requests & Content Retrieval

When downloading the daily capsule, the App queries trusted, public editorial feeds (including Wikipedia On This Day and ZenQuotes). These requests are read-only and transmit no personal user telemetry.

3. Advertising & App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

Daily Digest Capsule integrates Google AdMob to display non-intrusive advertisements that support free access to curated content.

In compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, the App requests permission before any tracking identifier is accessed.
Users can decline ATT tracking at any time in iOS Settings without losing access to daily capsules.
We publish authorized digital seller verification through app-ads.txt.

4. User Rights & Data Deletion

Because all your reading history and preferences reside locally on your phone, you have total control over your data. You can delete cached capsules in the app settings, or wipe all associated data instantly by removing the app from your device.
